Sometimes the strangest – and coolest – things happen during video orals sessions.
Case in point. One day The Schiff Group was doing a shoot for one of the country’s largest defense contractors. It turns out that one of the people used as talent for the solutions proposal was also a member of the Screen Actors Guild (SAG).
After the shoot the crew discovered that the actor, Paul Sieber, did amazing impressions. Truly authentic and awesome impressions. Seizing the moment, David “Schiffy” Schiff, company CEO, decided to ask Paul if he could film him doing some of those impressions. The result is the video shown here. Great moments like these serve to show the humanity, fun and good surprises that make the job rewarding for everyone involved.
Here’s how Schiffy described the event. “We were doing a normal video orals shoot for a FED SIM procurement. Suddenly Paul started doing some Arnold Schwarzenegger impersonations in front of us. We all thought it was really, really good but then we found out he did dozens of them, and so we asked if it would be okay if we record him.”
The crew got the camera rolling and the talent really got into a groove which resulted in this great little promotional video for the company. “You just never know what you’re going to run into when you’re out there working,” said Schiffy. “It’s a part of this business I just love.”
Now that’s how to make a great impression.
